Abstract of my 1st thesis in 2005

Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT) has an important role in Electronics. It was an epoch making invention for amplifying action on 23 December, 1947 by three scientists from Bell Telephone Laboratories. It is smaller and lightweight, needless of giving or exempted heat, more efficient and lower operating voltage needed. It has too many uses around the world for different types of switching and amplifying. This is an important matter to have an idea on its (BJT) structure and operation to use it in different modes of using as we want to use it as our desire mode. Because the working output of a BJT depends on its structure and on its operation. In this term paper we have focused on BJT structure and its operation.
